About us

County Carlow is a small inland county in the south east of Ireland, within the province of Leinster. It has a population of about 62,000 people and is mostly rural and agricultural. The county town is Carlow, which lies on the River Barrow and has a historic courthouse and castle.

Sustainable Mobility Focus: The Carlow Town Regeneration Project aims to transform the town centre into a vibrant and attractive place for living, working and visiting.
